Accelerating innovation at scale, while reducing carbon footprints
Sravathi AI's proprietary discovery platform combines generative AI, predictive AI, and physics-based models for molecule discovery, development and scalable manufacturing. It generates novel compounds, identifies and validates targets, and transforms complex chemistry into scalable, real-world solutions.
By bringing together computational chemists and data scientists, the platform screens thousands of potential compounds and narrows them down to a few hundred high-potential compounds for synthesis. This speeds up discovery while cutting resource use, carbon emissions, and toxic waste, proving that innovation and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand.

At L’Oréal’s SAPMENA Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program, Sravathi AI positioned its AI-powered chemistry solution as a practical way to make existing beauty ingredients faster, cleaner, and at scale. Winning the challenge delivered both industry validation and the chance to pilot its technology with L’Oréal in real-world use cases.
The pilot focuses on improving how key active ingredients already used in L’Oréal formulations are produced, starting from bio-sourced raw materials. Using AI to redesign production pathways and continuous flow processes, Sravathi AI explored how these ingredients could be manufactured more sustainably and efficiently without compromising performance.
“L’Oréal believes in doing innovation at cost, speed and scale, and they want to do it in a sustainable manner,” said Tipnis. This vision strongly aligned with Sravathi AI's approach and the collaboration reflects their shared commitment to long-term responsibility over short-term gains. The Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program is the open innovation pathway that makes this possible.
